NY Botanical Garden
New York Botanical Garden
200th St. & Kazimiroff Boulevard
Bronx, NY 10458-5126
The NY Botanical Garden is located in the Bronx on 250 acres with 16 gardens. Which of these gardens are actually flowering depends on the season. Be prepared to do a lot of walking when visiting the garden because the different gardens are fairly far from each other.
Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden
During our visit in August 2006 the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden was in full bloom. One can arrange a wedding and/or reception at the NY Botanical Garden and I can imagine the beautiful photos a bride would have in this lovely rose garden.

Everett Children's Adventure Garden
The children really seemed to be enjoying this garden.

This little girl is obviously a future gardener.

How does the garden grow?

Chihuly
Dale Chihuly is a glass sculptor and we were lucky enough to see an exhibit of his glass sculptures while we were at the garden that day.
